Using 'into the book' to assist our reading
Into the bookhttp://reading.ecb.org/ |
We are going to be doing some vizualising.
Visualising is like creating a movie in your mind while you read. You try to see, feel, hear and even smell what is going on. Your mind movie helps you remember what you've read and it's fun!

Capital E Arts Festival
We had a real selection of performances to appreciate. It isn't easy to capture images as taking photos of live performances is not always possible.
Here are a few. Tell your parents about them and help them visualise the "The Man and the Seesaw" by showing them his stage and explaining what he did.

Mrs Campbell's Garden
We have read Mrs Sprtizer's Garden. It is a book about a teacher who loves to garden. Can you make the connections between growing a garden and growing great learners in the classroom?

2. lots of ideas to keep us cool and thinking
3. managers to manage ourselves
4. different bright colours because we are all different
5. colour to involve us in our learning
6. bees to share the good stuff
7. shoes to keep us safe
8. love to share
9. children to do the learning
10. nice and quiet if its a quiet activity
11. feedback to help us without learning
12. sleep to help us concentrate
13. exercise to keep our muscles fit
14. cooperation to work together
15. carbohydrates to give us energy
16. visitors to see our learning
17. greetings to welcome others to our growing class
18. manners to make our garden a nice place to be
19. thirst to
learn and keep learning
20. independent time to think independently
21. sunshine to keep us seeing whatever we want
22. healthy food to keep us alert
